Clarified water storage tank

The clarified water storage tank is generally a cylindrical vessel made of steel, designed to collect the water coming from the clarifier. Its main function is to act as a storage and buffer volume, ensuring process continuity and stabilizing the outlet flow rates. For this reason, its dimensions are determined according to the capacity of the clarifier to which it is connected.
The structure consists of an upper cylindrical section and a lower conical bottom. The latter is equipped with a discharge valve that allows the periodic removal of accumulated deposits and facilitates tank cleaning and maintenance operations.
The clarified water transfer pumps draw the liquid from the cylindrical section, immediately above the conical part, ensuring efficient suction and proper feeding of the subsequent process stages.

Flocculant solution preparation system

The flocculant solution preparation system enables the dosing and dissolution of the powdered product in a predetermined quantity of water.
The flocculants used are organic anionic products based on polyacrylamide and must be prepared with clean water at a temperature between 10 and 40 °C, obtaining a final concentration of 0.1–0.3%.
The mixing of water and powder is ensured by an agitator that guarantees a homogeneous solution; the mixture must be kept under agitation for at least 45 minutes to ensure proper preparation.
The solution can be prepared either manually or fully automatically.
The automatic system, manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel, is available in a three-chamber configuration. In the first chamber, water and powder are automatically mixed; the solution then flows into the maturation chamber, where it is kept under agitation until the optimum characteristics are achieved. The third chamber is dedicated to solution storage and subsequent delivery by means of a dosing pump.
For less complex applications, a two-chamber version is also available, combining ease of use with operational efficiency.
Automatic flocculant dosing system

Optical flocculant calibrator
The automatic flocculant dosing system is designed to optimize the water clarification process, ensuring the correct use of the reagent under all operating conditions.
Thanks to an optical calibrator, the system continuously monitors the characteristics of the water and automatically adjusts the amount of flocculant dosed. The adjustment is carried out by varying the rotation speed of the injection pump, increasing or decreasing the dosage according to the actual process requirements.
This dynamic regulation helps reduce chemical consumption, improve clarification efficiency and lower plant operating costs. The result is a more stable, reliable and cost-effective treatment process, with optimized flocculant use even when the turbidity of the incoming water varies.
Sludge dewatering
Filter press

The filter press is built with a robust steel frame and is equipped with all the components required to ensure efficient and reliable operation:
- Hydraulic power unit for operating the cylinder that closes the filter plate pack.
- Electrical control panel with PLC logic for the automatic management of the entire filtration process.
- Polypropylene plates complete with filter cloths and backing cloths, selected according to the characteristics of the sludge to be treated. Under normal operating conditions and with proper maintenance, the filter cloths ensure an average service life of more than 1,500 operating cycles.
The time required for filter cake formation is automatically monitored by dedicated devices and varies according to the characteristics of the material being treated. In particular, as the percentage of dry solids in the incoming sludge increases, the time required for cake formation decreases.
The filter press normally achieves a dry solids content of between 70% and 90%, ensuring high dewatering performance.
Routine maintenance requirements are extremely limited and mainly consist of periodically washing the filter cloths with medium- or high-pressure water jets. This operation helps preserve the drainage capacity of the cloths over time and maintain consistent system performance.
Thanks to its simple and functional design, extraordinary maintenance operations are also quick and easy to carry out. The robust construction and high quality of the materials used ensure a long service life, while the modular design allows components to be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing machine downtime.

PRX-COMPACT QUARRY

Designed specifically for the treatment of process water in quarries, the PRX-COMPACT QUARRY ALL-IN-ONE system combines compact design, operational autonomy and maximum ease of relocation.
Developed from the experience gained with the PRX-COMPACT 800, already successfully installed in numerous production facilities, it has been specifically engineered to meet the operational requirements of quarries, where the ability to move the system quickly is a key advantage.
Thanks to its compact dimensions (2.3 x 2.3 m, height 4 m), the system can be easily relocated, including when new quarry faces are opened, without requiring prior emptying.
The “All-In-One” concept identifies a fully integrated system: only an electrical power supply is required for operation. The compressor, sludge feed pump, collection tanks and water transfer pumps are all incorporated into the structure, ensuring rapid installation and ease of operation.
RAB – Concrete mixer wash water recovery

The RAB system is designed for the treatment and recovery of concrete mixer wash water, which typically contains cement residues, sand, aggregates and suspended solids.
The process includes an initial separation stage for the coarser particles using a screw separator, followed by sludge dewatering through a filter press, which produces a solid cake that is easy to handle. The filtered water is recovered and returned to the production cycle, reducing water consumption and operating costs.
The RAB system optimizes material recovery, reduces waste generation and ensures effective management of process wastewater in compliance with environmental regulations.
